Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Scent Society Studios.By booking our services, you agree to the following:
Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 5 days before the event.
Bookings are confirmed only after deposit payment is received.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations within 5 days of the event may result in forfeiture of full payment.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Event Requirements
The client agrees to:
Provide adequate space and access for setup
Ensure a safe and suitable environment
Provide access to power outlets if required
Equipment Responsibility
All perfume dispensers, display units, and materials remain the property of Scent Society Studios.
The client is responsible for:
Damage caused by guests
Theft or loss during the event
Misuse of equipment
Repair or replacement costs may be invoiced accordingly.
Guest Safety
Our fragrances are cosmetic products intended for external use only.
Scent Society Studios is not liable for:
Allergic reactions
Skin sensitivities
Misuse of products
Guests are encouraged to perform patch tests prior to application.
Limitation of Liability
Scent Society Studios shall not be liable for:
Indirect or incidental damages
Event interruptions beyond our control
Venue-related issues
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but notlimited to:
Weather
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Venue shutdowns
Photography & Marketing
We may photograph or record portions of events for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise inwriting.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario Canada.
